TehnoloogiainstituutUnmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used for wind turbine inspection need robust software testing and deployment strategies which go beyond the traditional pre-deployment validation on real hardware. The goal of this thesis is to implement secure software supply pipeline within a case organization and evaluate the results of the implementation. The pipeline leverages the Docker containerization environment coupled with the advancements in Continuous integration and Continuous delivery practices. The result of this thesis is an automated testing and delivery pipeline which can be used for testing single components as well as the system as a whole in an efficient way, effectively reducing the time and effort required to make a new release.
