dc.description.abstract | Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärgiks on koostada eestikeelne õppematerjal LEGO Mindstorms NXT ja EV3’ga ühilduvale firma Dexter Industries poolt loodud kompassandurile. Andurit saab kasutada LEGO Mindstorms roboti juhtimiseks maa magnetvälja suhtes. Töö koosneb kolmest osast. Esimeses osas tutvustatakse erinevaid tüüpe kompasse, selgitatakse magnetkompasside tööpõhimõte ning antakse ülevaade magnetomeetritest. Teises osas tutvustatakse firma Dexter Industries poolt toodetud kompassandurit ning selgitatakse selle kasutamist koos LEGO Mindstorms EV3 komplektiga ja selle programmeerimist EV3 arenduskeskkonnas. Kolmandas osas on esitatud kompassandurile erineva raskustasemega ülesanded koos lahendustega. | |
dc.description.abstract | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the Dexter Industries’ compass sensor for LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics set and create material in Estonian intended for teachers to help with robotics activities. This thesis is composed of three parts. The first part gives an overview of different types of compasses and magnetometers, and explains how magnetcompasses work. The second part of the thesis introduces the Dexter Industries’ compass sensor. Sensor specifications and instructions on how to connect and program the sensor in the EV3 programming environment are given. The third part has exercises of different difficulty levels along with the solutions. | |
