dc.description.abstractThis thesis examines the discourse of the Georgian Dream (GD) party to understand how it shapes Georgia's identity, geopolitical positioning, and policy decisions. Using discourse analysis, it investigates GD's rhetoric on fundamental signifiers, EU aspirations, Christianity, political polarisation, relations with Russia, and responses to Ukraine's war. The study highlights the complexities and strategic nuances in GD's narrative construction, contributing to a deeper understanding of Georgia's political dynamics.en
