Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is an applied thesis with the aim of creating a user friendly and easily accessible web application for checking drug interactions. Before creating the application, the author familiarized themselves with existing solutions. Various frameworks were used for creating the web application, with PostgreSQL as the database management system. The developed web application provides visitors with a response and description of the suitability of the drugs. The web application and results are in Estonian, serving as the only public alternative to similar applications, which are meant for clinical institutions and are accessible only by medical personnel. The data originates from the Norwegian national database NOMA.
